Relief housing is judged on a different axis to every other product we sell. It has to sit in a warehouse for two years and still be sound when it is needed. It has to arrive with every part present and numbered. And it has to be erected by people who have never seen it before, in bad conditions, without a mistake that compromises the shelter.
We build for that: flat-packed for storage density, pre-wired and pre-plumbed so the services are in the wall rather than in a separate crate, and supplied with an illustrated manual and pre-shipment inspection report.
For government, NGO and disaster-response programmes we also quote phased framework arrangements, so units can be called off against a standing specification rather than re-tendered each time.
